Tammy Smith

Tammy is a lifelong horse woman. She started "way back when" on a pony she paid for herself, working at a doughnut shop in New Hampshire. Working with such greats as Edna Moser, Douglas Bowen, Steve Davis, Pat Tataronis and the Orcutt family, she learned a solid foundation and how to make a great show horse. She owned the highly successful Rosewin Morgans in New Hampshire and after relocating to Middle TN in 1990, the farm was re-named Majestic Meadow Stable. Some of the "greats" she has owned or trained include Quaker's Tabor, Quaker's Lucky Lass, Appleton Sultan, Cromwell's Lagato, Topic's On Fire, Majestic Meadow Top Trophy, Majestic Meadow AfterShock and Heartland's Halston.

Married to top Farrier Jimmy Smith for longer than any of us can remember and now a 5x over Grandmother, her greatest joy is getting kids in the ring and turning out fantastic, ring savvy riders. There's not a day you won't find her in the barn supervising all aspects of the lesson program, teaching young riders, or cheering on her youngest, Jesse, at one of his sports events.

Morgan Singleton

Morgan is Tammy's oldest daughter and a 4th generation horse trainer. She and Cromwell's Lagato garnered wins all over the Eastern Seaboard as 10 and Under riders and the tradition continued after the relocation to Tennesee with Quaker's Tabor as her 13 & Under horse. Majestic Meadow AfterShock may well be one of the winningest Youth Park Saddle Horses in Volunteer Morgan Horse Club History. Notable wins include The Dixie Cup, Raleigh Spring Premier, Volunteer Morgan Horse SHow, Festival of Horses, MorAb National Horse Show and more.

As a young mother, Morgan tried to make an escape into the world of 3 Day Eventing and worked at the nationally known Poplar Place Farm in Hamilton, Ga. That didn't stick and she is immersed back into the Morgan and Saddlebred world. If you want jumping or basic dressage lessons, she's your girl!

You'll see Morgan's husband, Chris, doing most of the heavy lifting at shows and in their "spare" time, they run the Auburntown Volunteer Fire Department. Chris is Chief and Morgan is a FF/Engineer. 3 kids, Dylan, Alex and Audrey, can also be found helping out around the farm or riding for the show team, in Audrey's case.
